Linda L. Lasswell (Spaulding)

Linda L. Lasswell (Spaulding) Linda L. Lasswell (Spaulding) earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and journalism from the University of New Mexico while working full time at Popejoy Hall, New Mexico’s largest and busiest performing arts center. She is the contract administrator, production coordinator, and “hospitality queen” for the performers, who include local and global stars of theatre, dance, and music.

Lasswell enjoys writing travel journals. Her articles on the Camino de Santiago have been published by the Confraternity of St. James in London and by the Friends of the Road to Santiago.

Walking Home is Lasswell’s first book. Another book is currently being conceived–a journal of a year-long adventure with her husband and two sons, aboard a small sailboat that carried them over the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, and through Dutch waterways, where they eventually became winter care-takers of a 100-year-old barge. Lasswell lives in Placitas, New Mexico.

Walking Home Walking Home is the fictionalized account of Lasswell’s on-again, off-again pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago. Sometimes surreal, sometimes poignant, often thought provoking, Walking Home invites the reader to share Lasswell’s internal and external explorations as they unfold along the Way.
